A long story short

Hello! My name is Abbi Costa. I am currently a junior at Mercyhurst University with a double major in Marketing and Biology. Why these two drastically different majors you may ask? Biology is a subject in which I love to learn but marketing is the subject in which I wish to make my career path. In the marketing field, I am most specifically intrigued by the quickly dominating social media presence. Social media is still such a new concept and plane field in marketing and the most rapidly changing segment as well. Due to its fast pace changes, there is always something new to learn, analyze, and problem solve which is part of the reason why I wish to pursue social media marketing.

The Purpose

The purpose of this website and blog is to shine a light on the extensive pathway of social media marketing. Being an online consumer is a full-time job and some individuals can forget to appreciate the process behind it.
